Asylum-Seeker Stabs 60-Year-Old in Jerusalem Bus Station

mishtAccording to eyewitness reports, the man who stabbed a 60-year-old Arab man at the Jerusalem Central Bus Station on Wednesday was an asylum-seeker. The attacker fled the scene by the time Ichud Hatzalah arrived but eyewitness reports provided police with a description.

When the victim arrived in a Jerusalem emergency room his condition was described as light-to-moderate, with wounds to his upper torso.

The Eritrean assailant was apprehended by police, possibly one of the thousands who earlier Wednesday, 7 Shevat 5774 stood outside the Knesset demanding political asylum as that community seeks legal status in the hope of remaining in Israel.

  1. The power of language. Pay attention! First they were being called what they really are – illegal infiltrators. Now, suddenly, the language has changed and they are being called “asylum seekers.” Government investigations have already proven that they are not seeking “asylum” but jobs and a higher standard of living. However, even if it were so, let them “seek” in any one of the other hundreds of countries on earth and NOT in the Holy Land. These are very UNholy people!
