A chaotic scene unfolded at Yossi’s Liquor Store in Borough Park after a man allegedly robbed the store and stabbed the manager on Tuesday evening.
The 28-year-old victim, identified by friends and family as Benzion Ausch, was working when a man came into the store, tried to steal some liquor and stabbed him in the process.
A struggle ensued and the clerk suffered minor lacerations to his torso, police said.
The suspect fled the scene with an undetermined amount of property.
The victim was taken to Lutheran Medical Center and treated for his injuries.
