6:40PM ET: The NYPD and Boro Park Hatzolah are currently on the scene with a person stabbed at Yossis on 18th Avenue and 58th Street.
The stabbing took place during an attempted robbery of the store.
The victim, apparently an employee at the store, was stabbed in the head. He is being transported to Lutheran Trauma Center with stab wounds to the head.
The NYPD and Boro Park Shomrim are canvassing the area and looking for a white male (possibly Russian) approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a long black jacket.
