Officials at Ben-Gurion International Airport have been receiving a growing number of complaints from passengers, stating items were missing from their luggage.
An investigation was launched and the evidence in the case pointed to a 62-year-old employee, a resident of Ohr Yehuda, who was helping himself to goodies from passenger luggage. The suspect was apprehended on surveillance video as he opened suitcase and took items for himself. The report adds that he used stolen credit cards to fill his vehicle’s gas tank.
The suspect was arrested on Monday, 27 Teves. He was released on bail but is prohibited to come close to the airport. He admitted to the allegations against him.
