Farmers report the blizzard and unseasonably cold weather that hit Israel two weeks ago has resulted in bananas developing black spots, which has resulted in a sharp drop in consumer demand for they appear overripe.
The experts explain the actual banana was not damaged but the appearance has left most consumers with a bad vibe, opting to buy different fruits. As a result, bananas are indeed becoming overripe as shoppers are uninterested based on their unsightly appearance.

Bananas are not native to Israel.
