What is referred to as the diplomatic process between Israel and the PA (Palestinian Authority) has deviated from the realm of logic quite a few years ago. In fact the ongoing process headed by Justice Livni, who follows in the footsteps of her predecessors, is a unilateral Israeli concession process that has nothing whatsoever to do with peace.

The PA, which is expected to reject the latest peace agreement offer that will be presented later in the week by US Secretary of State John Kerry, remains firm in its demands. However, this does not seem to deter the cabinet, which has accepted the next release of convicted Arab murderers, twenty in number.

The right-wing ministers were certain to share their concern with us, reminding the nation of their “heavy hearts”, but the terrorists are going to be set free and that is the bottom line. Now, as a result, now only are the homes in Yehuda and Shomron built by Arab laborers, this is accomplished by releasing terrorists from prison for the Bayit Yehudi party opted to continue construction in yishuvim in exchange for the release of terrorists. This represents a strange ideology on the best of days but it is reality nonetheless.

Placing political positions aside the agreement in no way represents a peace status. The PA wants control of the Jordan Valley and like the situation in other autonomous areas under its control today, this means Israeli free. No Israelis would be permitted to enter into PA areas. Those who wander into PA areas are either murdered, attacked or the lucky ones are escorted out by PA police. Alternatively residents of PA autonomous areas continue to work, study and visit areas of Green Line Israel. They also benefit from Israel’s modern medical system as is evident by anyone visiting a Jerusalem hospital and seeing the growing number of PA residents receiving medical care. This bizarre situation has somehow been interpreted as “peace” by the US and the other nations pressuring Israel into additional concessions towards whetting the PA’s insatiable appetite for portions of Eretz Yisrael. In actually, the process is one intended to replace the State of Israel with the State of Palestine and Israeli leaders continue to play along with this potentially catastrophic process.

PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) has made his position clear and his does not intend to recognize Israel as the Jewish state. He is backed by the Arab League. In addition, the over 1.2 million residents of Hamastine in Gaza have announced any agreement signed with the PA with Israel will not be accepted by its leaders. Hence, even if the PA accepts the latest Kerry land concession package, no where will this result in peace between Israel and the PA or Gaza.

In addition, while Bayit Yehudi sold its soul in return for the construction of 1,400 housing units in Yehuda, Shomron and areas of so-called “occupied East Jerusalem”. Many of these apartments will not be built for the US, EU and other nations will begin flexing their political muscle and threaten boycotts and others sanctions as has been the case in the past.

The photo op of US President Bill Clinton, Prime Minister Yitzchak Rabin, Shimon Peres and Yasser Arafat YS”VZ on the White House lawn in September 1993 marked the beginning of the horrific process of releasing murderers and giving away portions of HKBH’s land. The signing of the Oslo Agreement was the official start of the process that afflicts Israel today. The secular leaders of the State of Israel who place their belief in the White House and not HKBH continue this process while assuring us they know what is best for the Jewish People.
