Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman on Tuesday, 21 Teves spoke with the Foreign Minister of South Sudan, Dr. Barnaba Marial Benjamin.

FM Lieberman expressed the hope that the conflict in this youngest country in the world will come to an end soon, and that they will move quickly from fighting to a peaceful solution. FM Lieberman also told FM Benjamin that Israel is a friend of South Sudan and plans to send humanitarian aid, primarily medicines.

FM Benjamin thanked FM Lieberman for his kind words and readiness to help his country.
