As US Secretary of State John Kerry continues to apply pressure on Israel to make additional concessions the Arab League is signaling it is opposed to his planned solution to resolve the conflict between Israel and the PA (Palestinian Authority).
In a report released on Shabbos 18 Teves 5774, senior Arab League official Nabil el-Arabi told Arab foreign ministers the Kerry plan is unacceptable for it permits too many yishuvim to remain in place, referring to them as “occupied areas in Palestine”.
