Tragedy struck the Lakewood community on Wednesday, with the tragic passing of a young man.
According to Lakewood Alerts, R’ Feivel Mandel Z”L was the victim of a horrific crash at the intersection of Courtney Road and Clifton Avenue.
According to security camera footage obtained by YWN, it appears the victim was making turn, when a vehicle traveling a very high-rate of speed slammed into his car. He was ejected from the vehicle. The engine from his car was found nearly 250 feet away on private property.

Everyone should know that this intersection happens to be right next to the famous wedding hall Bais Fayge.–Ateret Chana Hall——
This is a dangerous intersection. If you are making a turn here, you need to be extra extra super careful.
Also pay attention that there is a clear sign that says “No Left Turn”, when you are driving Rt. 9 North and you want to make a left turn into 13th St. It is 100% illegal and very dangerous. That whole area is scary. Obviously, there was no wedding at that time because the accident happened in the morning.

This tragedy is heartbreaking and it’s time for all of us to just show down. If your rush is truly an emergency pull over and call 911 or Hatzolloh otherwise drive slowly and get where your going safely even if it means being a few minutes late
