The following update was released by Gush Etzion Regional Council officials on Tuesday night the eve of 15 Teves 5774.

Schools in central Gush Etzion and Maale Amos will begin at 10:30 AM on Wednesday. All children will be picked up 2 hours and 45 minutes later than usual. That means a 6:45 AM pick up will take place at 9:30 AM.

School staff will arrive earlier in the hope of having sufficient time to clean up and prepare for the arrival of students. Schools will end on a regular Wednesday schedule.

Kindergartens will begin at 10:00 AM and end on a regular schedule. Parents are urged to escort the little ones to and from school. All daycare centers will open at 10:00 AM. Yerushalayim Update

Jerusalem schools will begin at 10:00 AM tomorrow morning. One may follow this link for a list of schools that will not open on Wednesday. City Hall officials report 90% of city schools will be operating.
