Finance Minister Yair Lapid remains committed to Israel reaching agreement with the PA (Palestinian Authority) and of late, he has made his position quite clear. The Yesh Atid party leader has announced that when it comes to signing a peace agreement with the PA, he will not permit anyone interfere.
Speaking in English, he told listeners that an agreement with the PA, which he refers to as “the peace process” is “crucial to the future of Israel”.
Clearly, Lapid and his main coalition partner, Bayit Yehudi, are at odds pertaining to such an agreement and many feel that if chief negotiator Justice Minister Tzipi Livni announces an agreement in imminent, it will cause a split of the coalition since Bayit Yehudi is unlikely to be a part of a coalition that compels additional Israeli concessions.

How about peace talks with the Hareidim?
Unfortunately I think its easier with the PA
#1- How about Hareidim appreciating the clean streets, traffic lights, garbage collection, etc. and IDF serving on the front lines? How about that for a change?
