It would appear the arrival of Eida Chareidis Gavaad HaGaon HaRav Yitzchok Tuvia Weiss Shlita and the Toldos Aaron Rebbe Shlita does not impress IDF officials as the gedolim were barred from visiting imprisoned talmidei yeshiva in IDF Prison 6.
Over 1,000 people turned out to protest outside the prison in a showing of support for the talmidim. The event turned somewhat violent and protestors began pelting police with stones. The rabbonim shlita were not permitted to visit with the talmidim and police spokesman Mickey Rosenfeld reports that police broke up the event after it turned violent. A number of policemen were injured by the rocks, albeit lightly.

Were the Rabbonim of the Eidah expecting a warm welcome, hugs and hellos upon arrival?
Let’s look at the other side of the coin, WHAT TYPE OF WELCOME does the IDF, Police, Fire department, religious soldiers receive upon arriving in Meah Shearim?
Most countries ban visits to political prisoners. They should be asking the International Committee of the Red Cross to make the visits, as most countries do allow ICRC visits to political prisoners (which includes religoius objectors to military service).
Its nice to see jews doing what is right
