A talmid yeshiva who was returning from Kever Shimon HaTzaddik in Yerushalayim on Friday, 3 Teves 5774 was injured after being struck in his head by a rock hurled at him by Arabs on Derech Shechem Street. The victim ran down the block to a nearby gas station and summoned assistance. The attack occurred during the afternoon hours on erev Shabbos.

Ichud Hatzalah provided initial care on the scene, reporting the victim was in light-to-moderate condition.
