FedEx will raise its FedEx Ground and FedEx Home Delivery rates in January in addition to raising express shipping rates.

Gotta wonder if it has to do with obamaCare
1. Quite possible. Our from other ridiculous taxes they are forced to pay.
I know one of the drivers. He said FedEx might just drop employees insurance altogether.
There is absolutely no information in this article to suggest any reason for the price increases proposed for FedEx, but Commenters 1 and 2 find that Obamacare may be a reason.
And what would be so bad if FedEx dropped employee health care? Five years ago, that would have left FedEx employees with few alternative sources of health insurance, but with Obamacare, people do not have to depend on the kindness of employers to have reliable alternative sources for health insurance.
