MK Moshe Gafne was angered when he saw the promo for a new investigative news program, HaMaarechet (The System), which is set to air this week. It addresses the housing shortage and questions if “your neighborhood may soon be overrun by chareidim too”.
While the promo is intended to whet one’s appetite to tune in to the program, in this case Gafne feels that it simply promotes more hate towards chareidim and it is unacceptable. He asked how the general public would react to a similar promo warning against Arabs taking over Herzliya.
Seen in the promo is former Shinui party minister Yosef Paritzsky, known for his outspoken anti-chareidi hashkafa. He served with the defunct party’s founder, the late Tommy Lapid.
Journalist Miki Chaimovitz, seen in the promo, reports the promo has been scrapped and seeks to assure chareidim the actual program is not offensive.

In america when the machsheifa councilwoman for crown height says something like this it makes news in the whole country but in the jewish land its fine
The zionists like Arab. The Arabs do lots of work that the zionists prefer not. Remember the idea of zionism is to be like goyim – and that means ruling over someone which is the nature of goyim. The zionists need the Arabs and if there weren’t any they would have to invent some.
The zionists hate hareidim. We don’t serve them. Indeed, the whole idea of zionism was to be rid of us.Gafni is naive to think otherwise.
