YWN-ISRAEL recently reported on the Begin Plan, which has been accepted by the government. The plan details the state plan to address the over 200,000 members of the Bedouin community living in the Negev.
The Bedouins themselves reject the plan, claiming the state wishes to uproot them from their ancestral lands. ACRI (Association for Civil Rights in Israel) and other organizations have undertaken their fight and are working to stop the state-approved plan.
The following video shows the other side, the Bedouin claim that the state plan is unjust and should be eliminated.
