Tnuva filed suit against Zoglovek for using its ‘gold line’ on products. Tnuva dairy products under the Eida Chareidis are differentiated from other products produced by the dairy which are under different hechsherim.

In an out-of-court agreement with Tnuva on Monday 22 Kislev 5774, Zoglovek agreed to stop using a gold line on its packaging to avoid confusion among consumers since Zoglovek’s gold line is not used exclusively for products that bear the Eida Chareidis hashgacha.

Tnuva explains it feared the use of the gold line on products would lead to confusion among its chareidi consumers.
