Fanatics Verbally Assault Eida Ravaad Rav Sternbuch Shlita

shternbThe split in the Eida community surrounding construction in Beit Shemesh has led some to believe they have a right to attack talmidei chachamim R”L.

Ravaad Eida Chareidis HaGaon HaRav Moshe Sternbuch Shlita arrived in Kiryat Sefer Hall on erev Shabbos to attend a bris. As the ravaad was leaving the hall a group of zealots was waiting for him and they shouted “grave digger” at him. Not until some of the guests began assisting did the zealots take off.

The split in the Eida Chareidis community is widening and many avreichim have recently canceled their subscription to “The Eida” in response to criticism against the Toldos Aaron community in the weekly.

  1. In Johannesburg, South Africa, in 1982, a prominent leader of the k’hilla very publically denigrated HaGaon HaRav Sternbuch, shlita. A very short time later, this individual was nearly killed in a car crash. As b’nei Torah, we know there are no coincidences.

  2. Why call them zealots or fanatics? Their behavior is common, socially accepted, and tacitly encouraged by the rabbinic leaders of almost all ultra-orthodox persuasions.

  3. #2…..””Their behavior is common, socially accepted, and tacitly encouraged by the rabbinic leaders of almost all ultra-orthodox persuasions. “”

As taught by Satmar and their surrogates, the Neturei Karta.

  4. This is madneess and arizona should be wary of drawing direct links between events such as that, rabbonim are not infallible and divine retribution is not as clear as we may like to think
