Police arrested four Jewish girls, ages 15-17, after they were spotted in the Muslim Cemetery complex in Jerusalem’s Old City at about midnight, the eve of 15 Kislev 5774. Police suspected they were planning or had been involved in price tag activity. Police report the girls in detention cursed them and refused to cooperate. Border police explain that after the girls refused to identify themselves they made the decision to bring them in.
Defense attorney Itamar Ben-Givir called their arrests “an outrage”, explaining the court has instructed police it cannot arrest suspects simply for being in the area of a cemetery for that is not a crime, but police continue to do so in defiance of the court’s instructions.

If they were engaged in politically motivated mischief they would be boasting about it. More likely they were doing some sort of apolitical mischief.
