Ministerial Committee Approves Chief Rabbinate Bill as Expected

icrThe Ministerial Law Committee on Monday morning 15 Kislev 5774 passed the Chief Rabbinate Bill as expected, a bill that seeks to limit the office of Chief Rabbi of Israel to one rav, not two as has been the case to date. The bill was authored by Moshe Feiglin (Likud) and Rabbi Dov Lipman (Yesh Atid).

There is another similar bill which is authored by Ministers Tzipi Livni (The Movement) and Naftali Bennett (Bayit Yehudi).

  1. What’s happening is going according to plan, not surprising, as expected. All Jews should forget their heritage and become “Israelis”, thus Tzahal (the IDF) is the “melting pot” of the nation, as Ben Gurion considered it.
Zionism was created in order not to be dependent on Rabbis. Zionism does not recognize any Rabbis, certainly not black-hatter Charedi Rabbis. The G-dless Zionist government would need first and foremost a “rabbi” who’s willing to perform same gender or human and dog/donkey marriages. If it was ok for Bilaam, it should be ok for the Zionists.

Regarding Feiglin joining up with Lipman, a Lapid Haman comrade:
לא לחנם הלך הזרזיר אצל העורב אלא מפני שהוא מינו
Tell me who your friends are, I’ll tell you who you are.

Will Feiglin and Lipman have the courage to suggest a merge of the presidency and prime minister like in the U.S. which are 2 huge expenses many times more than 2 Chief Rabbis?
