Copy of 5255_100333309983314_100000199356787_7270_4819965_n[1]The Spring Valley, NY Police Department is reaching out to the Jewish Community of Monsey and Spring Valley to help locate the mother of a newborn baby that was found dead Tuesday afternoon at a trash recycling plant in Westchester, New York
Authorities believe the Hispanic Woman, very likely a housekeeper (cleaning lady) at Jewish houses, was still Pregnant as of Sunday the 10th. The baby was delivered sometime before garbage pickup Tuesday morning and was found in a bag from a Deli on Myrtle Ave in Spring Valley.
The mother, who has yet to come forward, is considered a person of interest in this matter. She may have showed up to work Pregnant the week of Nov. 8th and suddenly disappeared this week, or perhaps showed up to work this week too but not Pregnant anymore and mum about her newborn.
Authorities are asking members of the Jewish and other communities who may have any information about this, to call the Crime Stoppers tip-line866-313-TIPS (8477). Name or personal information of callers will not be requested. Chaverim of Rockland is urging the Community to come Forward with any information that may or may not seem helpful.
