As is the case whenever disaster strikes around the world, the IDF has sent a team to the Philippines in an effort to assist life-saving measures following the natural disaster that hit that country.
The personnel include search & rescue experts as well as a medical professionals; including surgeons, non-surgical physicians, paramedics, nurses, EMTS and support staff.
The field hospital that is being built will be capable of treating 500 patients simultaneously, IDF officials report.
Zaka has announced that it too is sending a rescue team. Zaka has established a name in the international community as its rescue team has been at many disasters and is credited with saving lives.

What a zechus to be part of such a wonderful nation.
What’s sad about the story is, that although it may be true that whenever there is a world disaster, Israel is the first to be there. However charity begins at home!! What about the disaster that this government has done to the frum families?
ohy! if only the israelis meant it for real we wouldn’t see what we are seeing today in eretz yisroel.
If the government really meant to help helples people out there, then there are enough at home to help.
before we go ahead and congradulate the government for all the “good” that it’s doing out there, let’s demand justice at home first.

Arab countries do not even help Arabs.
Toras Hashem demands from us to be compassionate and caring and these docs and rescue personnel are, just as they will spend hours looking for bnei yeshiva who are on a tiyul and get lost, bring Charedi pregnant women to hospitals in snowstorms and anything else needed.
Child benefits are being slashed for everyone,,,not just the religious and it is unjust therefore doesn’t mean a government hates the young. They are trying incorrectly to budget and stop a deficient.

Lets not be ridiculous people, the IDF is an essential and wonderful establishment that does much good for the Jewish people.
Any and every instance of criticism must acknowledge this.
