It appears that until chas v’sholom someone is killed or seriously injured, the deteriorating security situation in the Mount Scopus area of Yerushalayim, will not be addressed as it should.
Last week, YWN-ISRAEL reported an access road to the Issawiya neighborhood was shut by police following a firebomb attack. It appears that move was insufficient as two firebombs were hurled at the security inspection booth of Hadassah Hospital Mount Scopus on Wednesday night, the eve of 11 Kislev 5774.
Mount Scopus is home to Hadassah Medical Center, Hebrew University, an IDF base, a hotel and residential areas too.
B’chasdei Hashem there were no fatalities or injuries in the last Mount Scopus terror attack.
