With Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu having to stand firm against the American position in Geneva, the Iranian issue is once again in the headlines, possibly leading to a worrisome position for Israel.
Former Shas leader Eli Yishai, a former cabinet minister and member of the Security Cabinet issued a statement calling for resounding support for Prime Minister Netanyahu at this critical time.
Despite US assurances that Israel’s security will not be compromised, Mr. Netanyahu is continuing to sound the alarm.
Yishai explains that this is not an issue of a conflict of personalities but the prime minister having to stand up and defend Israel’s vital security interests while other nations have other economic and other interests in mind. He feels the nation must stand firmly behind the prime minister’s objections to a Geneva agreement with Iran that would result in significantly reducing sanctions in place against Iran today.
“The prime minister must know that the entire nation with all its diverse opinions stands firmly behind him in opposition to capitulating to the Iranian smile. 75 years ago the homes of Jews were shattered and the world remained silent – and since then has apparently learned nothing” Yishai concluded.

Kol haKavod, MK Yishai. While Shas may be in opposition, it’s important to show that while there may be disagreements on some facets of Israeli government policy, we can work together where there is agreement.
I contrast this with some parties that have taken a scorched-earth approach – because they’re not in government and not getting what they want in some areas, they’ve decided to oppose government policy in unrelated areas as well….

As long as The Israeli Government keeps on prosecuting the chareidim, they will be isolated by the whole world. Obama will force a PA solution on Israel.
The “Sinah” hatred the the chareidim is so great that they will bite their nose to spite their face.
