Officials at Tel Aviv’s Ben-Gurion International Airport last week inaugurated a new internal runway. The new runway leads from the parking areas to runway 08-26, the main takeoff runway at the airport.
The new access runway will be particularly useful to planes parked in the Terminal 1 parking area, providing a shortened route. Officials explain the new internal access runway is another step in ongoing improvements towards improving overall service in the airport.
The new runway is 2,700 meters in length and 60 meters wide. It can therefore even accommodate an Airbus A380.

The wording is incorrect. The plane lands and takes off using a runway. They TAXI from the gate to & from the runway via the TAXIWAY. I presume they are building a taxiway.
i think moshiach will arrive before anyone sends an A380 to israel 🙂
