The main shloshim event for Maran HaGaon HaRav Ovadia Yosef ZT”L is set to take place in Yerushalayim on Tuesday, 2 Kislev 5774, beginning at 18:00.

As there is much to do to set up for the event, road closures will begin as early at 09:00, with the intersection of Shmuel HaNavi/Bar Ilan closing in certain directions. Later in the day, at 14:00, additional road closures will begin in areas including Kikar Shabbat and Shimon HaTzaddik. The closures will most likely remain in effect until 02:00.

Private vehicles will be barred from the event area from the early afternoon hours. Vehicles parked in prohibited areas will be towed.
