This Ramapo Police Department responded to a report of a robbery of a car in the area of 418 Rt.59 Monsey, in the area of the Wald Pavilion, around 11:00PM on Saturday night. The following appears to have occurred:
Three victims were somehow lured to a vacant house at 418 Rt. 59 by, at this time, an unidentified male. The victims arrived at the location in a 2007 Honda Odyssey mini-van. The victims were met by at least three, possibly Hispanic, males. The victims report that at least one of these males displayed what appeared to be a gun. One of the victims reports that a perpetrator took an amount of cash from him and then all of the males left the scene in the Honda Odyssey. The victims are unsure which direction the perpetrators fled. The victims reported the robbery to the Ramapo Police Department shortly after the robbery.
At this time this case is under investigation by department detectives. Two suspects have been located and are currently being charged with Robbery 1st degree and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property. The Honda Odyssey has been recovered, at the parking lot of the Palisades Mall, and is being processed by the Rockland County BCI.
At this time positive identification on the suspects is still being determined. Upon identification names will be released.
The victims’ names at this time are not being release for their safety.
This robbery appears to be an isolated incident and the location may have be a random selection on the part of the suspects.

Will you print the follow up, as to how these people were lured to an abandoned house with “an amount of cash?”
