With the lowering of tensions between the United States, Iran and Syria, it appears gasoline prices in Israel will go down as the price of crude oil drops.
Officials in Israel are signaling a liter of fuel will drop by 16 agorot to 7.26 NIS for self-service and 7.44 NIS for full service. This would be the equivalent of $6.35/gallon and $6.54/gallon respectively, based on the Bank of Israel October 25, 2013 closing exchange rate of $1/3.52 NIS.
The listed amounts are based on today’s realities and the actual price will be determined based on the price of a barrel of oil at the end of October.

WOW , a mivtza (sale) @ 6.35 dollars a gallon! These people are off their minds !
There’s something wrong with the math. According to the exchange rate it should be 2.06 and 2.11 respectively.
never mind the math is right 7.26nis a liter would be 6.35 usd a gallon. I should never second guess Yeshiva World.
Not sure how the yeshivaworld does it’s math – but 7.26NIS per liter is equal to $7.79 per US Gallon.
7.26NIS = $2.06 (per liter)
1 US Gallon = 3.785 Liters
$2.06 x 3.785 = $7.79
