B’chasdei H’shem there were no fatalities or injuries in a motzei Shabbos shooting attack near Naalin. A motorist arrived at the IDF’s Kiryat Sefer checkpoint and reported gunfire was directed at his vehicle from a while passing Arab vehicle.
Two bullets struck the vehicle, with one hitting the hood and the second entering the passenger compartment, but missing the occupants. The road in the area was shut down for about two hours as crime scene investigators worked.
While there were conflicting reports of rocks or gunfire, it was determined that the attack involved live gunfire as reported by the driver.
As has become the norm, the attack received almost no media coverage as no one was killed or wounded. It is clear that the growing number of attacks throughout Yehuda and Shomron are contrary to the left-wing agenda that devotes some much coverage to the renewed “peace talks” between Israel and the PA, headed by Justice Minister Tzipi Livni.
The PA Maan news agency reports Israeli forces early Sunday morning 23 Cheshvan blocked the entrance of both Naalin and Shuqba in retaliation for the attack.
