How Hamas Values a Citizen’s Right to Protest

hamasAccording to a Palestine Press new agency report, Hamas Interior Minister Fatmi Hamad has instructed his police force to shoot anti-government protesters in the head, referring to the planned protest movement set to begin in Gaza in November.

It would appear the Hamas regime plans to prevent the spread of widespread anti-government protests as were seen in Syria and Egypt. As such, the order was given to simply aim for the head to eliminate the threat before it has opportunity to spread.

Hamad is quoted telling his commanders “I want you to aim for the head and shoot the opposition. I do not want people injured”, making it clear that security forces are to shoot to kill.
