President Obama and New York mayoral candidate Bill de Blasio went for an afternoon snack Friday at Junior’s, the famous Brooklyn cheesecake bakery and diner, according to Politico.

The president picked up two cheesecakes — one plain and one strawberry — at the red-and-white Flatbush Avenue restaurant. “We’ll be eating it on Air Force One” he said.

The stop came after Obama spoke at a local high school about his budget priorities and ahead of an evening of high-dollar fundraisers in Manhattan.

According to the WH pool, Obama entered Juniors with DeBlasio shaking hands with employees and patrons saying “Do you know your next mayor here?”

According to AP, “Obama, who has endorsed de Blasio, went table to table shaking hands and posing for photos, evoking images of similar campaign stops during Obama’s two presidential campaigns.”

“It was something of a campaign stop for Pres Obama at the Brooklyn restaurant with NYC Dem Mayoral candidate Bill DeBlasio,” WH reporter, Mark Knoller immediately tweeted.

  1. I read that DeBlasio likes Muslims just like our president. Don’t vote for another mistake. We can’t afford it.

  2. If you liked old time politics you can vote for Obama Blasio but if you really care about New York City you will vote for the next mayor joe lotah
