Gavaad Darchei Torah HaGaon HaRav Usher Weiss Shlita on Monday night the eve of 18 Cheshvan 5774 signed a letter endorsing Moshe Leon’s candidacy in the Jerusalem mayoral race.

The rav called on followers to vote for Leon in the mayoral race and for Gimmel in the city council race.

Rav Weiss’ support is a breath of fresh air as Leon failed to obtain the endorsement of a number of large chassidic courts in the city, including Belz and Gur.
