The drama is over and it is official. The Vishnitz community in Elad is backing the mayoral bid of Yisrael Porush. At the beginning of the week it appeared that the local Vishnitz community was not going to back Porush but this is not the case.

A kenos was held in the Tzemach Tzedek Shul in Kiryat Vishnitz in which the official announcement was made. The words of the Rebbe Shlita calling on chassidim to vote Porush were read for participants.

With the election only hours away, many chassidim volunteered to devote their time until Election Day working to gain additional support for Porush’s mayoral bid.
