A bill seeking to protect Yerushalayim was approved by the Ministerial Legislative Committee on Sunday, 16 Cheshvan 5774. The bill is sponsored by MK (Yahadut Hatorah) Rav Yaakov Litzman. The bill requires the approval of a minimum of 80 MKs to enter into negotiations to divide Yerushalayim.
The passing of the bill by the ministerial committee represents a unique parliamentary reality as Litzman is a member of the opposition, not the coalition but it appears amid fears Justice Minister Tzipi Livni will give away the country, the coalition support for the bill is considerable.
Committee Chairwoman Livni explains she will appeal the vote and seek a revote in an effort to prevent the bill from being voted on in Knesset, where it is likely to pass into law.
Litzman added that for him it is a zechus to present a bill to protect Yerushalayim, adding Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu promised on numerous occasions there would not be talks regarding division of the capital and the bill is an insurance policy that the promise is kept. Needless to say Livni does not share this viewpoint.

I think Livni should move to Syria or Iran so she can divide those countries up to bad and bad.
If she wants to give away something let her give away all of her money. My hand is out and my palm is open.
These animals will sell there owne mothers for anyoney
Livni is 100 percent out of touch with the sentiments of virtually every Jew in EY or anywhere else. Its one of the few points everyone agrees on…no negotiations on Yerushalayim.
There is simply nothing to say. I’m speechless.
