Two people were killed and five others were injured, including three victims that sustained moderate-to-light injuries in a Thursday night vehicular accident on Route 90, at Halido Junction in the direction of Ein Gedi. Ichud Hatzalah from the Binyamin Regional Council district and Yerushalayim arrived on the scene and began treating the victims.
Magen David Adom dispatched eight ambulances, including 4 paramedic units and transported the victims as did choppers, with the latter taking the more seriously injured. A MDA chopper responded along with two IAF choppers. Police and fire responded as well, from the Maale Adumim district.
The victims killed in the accident were a male in his 40s and a 10-year-old girl. Among the injured are two girls, 12 and 14 and a woman in her 30s.
No names are available for davening at this time.
As of Thursday morning, 13 Cheshvan 5774, 254 people were killed on the nation’s roadways since January 1, 2013, including motorists and pedestrians.
