The fight for the guy at the helm of a fractured Republican Party in Brooklyn has entered its most challenging phase, as a petition was filed on behalf of the “Republican for Change” faction – led by Senator Marty Golden – to remove Craig Eaton from his County Leadership post as Brooklyn GOP County Chairman, and declare Timothy Cochrane as the duly elected chairman of the party.

The lawsuit is based on Mr. Golden’s faction’ claim that Brooklyn GOP Chairman, Craig Eaton, won his reelection bid undemocratically.

The court hearing will be held on October 18th, 2013 before Judge David Shmidt.
