The Moetzas Gedolei Hatorah of Degel Hatorah convened in Bnei Brak on Wednesday night, the eve of 29 Tishrei as planned. The Gedolei Hador Shlita called on all bnei Torah to increase their limudim during these critical days, strengthening the frum community and those who are at the forefront opposing those working to eradicate Yiddishkheit.
The rabbonim shlita gave a chizuk to the rabbonim, roshei yeshivos and kollelim as well.
HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita took part in the meeting. This was historic since it was the first time Rav Chaim is seated aside HaGaon HaRav Aaron Yehuda Leib Shteinman Shlita at a council meeting.
The message heard from Bnei Brak is this is an effort to show there is one voice, that of the gedolim, in the hope of all of the chareidi litvish tzibur understanding where the voice of Torah authority comes from today.

Its a big Chizuk, to actually see that all the Gedolim, came to an agreement, that the Bnei Torah should increase their Limudim; and that the Tomcheh Torah should increase their support for Torah.
