Following Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu‏‏’s meeting on Sunday with US President Donald Trump’s senior adviser Jared Kushner and National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien, the three held a press conference from the prime minister’s residence in Jerusalem.

Netanyahu said that it was a special pleasure to host the US delegation prior to the historic first-ever commercial passenger flight from Israel to the United Arab Emirates.

“It will pave the way for other countries to normalize their ties with Israel,” the prime minister said in reference to the Israeli-UAE deal. “I think for too long the Palestinians have had a veto on peace. Not only between Israel and the Palestinians but between Israel and the Arab world.”

“If we have to wait for the Palestinians, we’ll have to wait forever. No longer.”
