Hadassah Hospital’s Professor Dan Gilon on motzei reports there are some encouraging signs pertaining to the condition of Maran HaGaon HaRav Chaim Ovadia Yosef Shlita, reporting a “slight improvement”. Prof. Gilon adds the gadol hador’s condition remains serious/stable.

While Gilon is careful to point out there is no significant change in the rav’s condition, there are some encouraging signs and room for cautious optimism. The rav is being carefully monitored as the coma inducing drugs have been lowered and they are looking for a response as Rav Chaim Ovadia may begin showing signs of partial return to consciousness.
