A 6-year-old boy chocked on a candy on motzei Simchas Torah. Ichud Hatzalah responders arrived at Ein Yaakov Street and began resuscitation efforts. Magen David Adom paramedics continued advanced life support and the child was transported to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in critical condition.
Family members explain he was given a lollypop but it appears the candy separated from the stick and he chocked.
