It was a rainy Shabbos Chol Hamoed Sukkos 5774 in Eretz Yisrael. Rainfall was reported from the Upper Galil to the Golan Heights, in Haifa, the Sharon region, Ashdod, Yerushalayim, Ariel, Modi’in, Beersheva and other cities. The most rainfall was reported in Bat Yam, 9mm.
The forecasters predict rainfall in Israel on Sunday 18 Tishrei too, in the north and center, adding with Sunday being the first day of fall, the weather will reflect the seasonal change.
Local rainfall in the north and center is expected on Monday (19 Tishrei) and even stronger showers on Tuesday (20 Tishrei).
Despite the wet weather, forecasters report the summer is not over and there are hot dry days ahead in the forecast, including a heat-wave.
