[VIDEO IN EXTENDED ARTICLE] Speaking to reporters following Bill de Blasio clinching the Democratic nomination for mayor, Republican nominee Joe Lhota adopted the “change” theme in order to avoid being hurt by voters who are tired of the current mayor, but also tried to distinguish his version of change from de Blasio’s.
“I think Bill de Blasio’s change is radical,” Lhota said. “My change is practical. It’s straightforward. It’s to be able to build upon what we have done, not tear down what has happened.”
He also took issue with de Blasio’s campaign theme and showed no reluctance to use one of Bloomberg’s inflammatory phrases.
“The ‘tale of two cities’ is a divisive device that he’s using,” said Lhota. “It’s a divide-and-conquer strategy. It’s class warfare.”

There is another candidate in the race who has not begun his official advertising campaign yet. That Candidate is Jack Hidary, the scion of a prominent Syrian Jewish, religious family who built his own internet empire into a multi million dollar enterprise before selling it.
He has the experience, energy and most importantly the mental capacity to lead NYC to even greater heights.
As an aside, people complain about Mayor Blumberg’s third term, but look at all the good he accomplished. He is leaving the city in a much better condition than when he found it ( not including of course 9/11/).
Reb legaleagle,
Mayor Blumberg (sic) wasn’t nyc mayor on 9/11.
