Kfar Chabad city leaders Rav Binyamin Lifshitz and Rav Pinchas Althauz arrived at the Modi’in home of Chief Ashkenazi Rabbi of Israel Rabbi David Lau on motzei Yom Kippur 5774.

They presented the rav of a number of esrogim to permit him to select one for himself. The rabbi selected an esrog from the samples brought from the Knar Chabad orchards. Other Chabad shluchim are expected to bring the rav the other 3 minim in the coming days ahead of yomtov.
