11:55PM (Wednesday): The FDNY is currently on the scene of a fire on 18th Avenue and East 3rd Street. The FDNY has requested a 2nd Alarm Response. The fire is on the 2nd and 3rd floors of a 3 story building located at 4315 18th Avenue. One person was pulled out in unknown condition.
12:05PM (Thursday): Additional trucks have been requested to the scene by the FDNY. Flatbush & Boro Park Hatzolah are on the scene along with NYC EMS. The condition of the victim pulled out is still unknown. The flames have been knocked down, but a heavy smoke condition continues in the area.
Heavy traffic is reported, as emergency vehicles have closed 18th Avenue.
