The Board of Elections says it is experiencing problems at some polling sites around New York City.
A spokesman says that at the 55th Street and Lexington site, there were no voting machines when polls opened. But that has now been rectified.
He says problems at a few other sites included no supervisors or enough workers.
The spokesman says some people have had to vote via affidavit because machines weren’t ready when they arrived.
The agency is monitoring all tweet feeds and says it is working hard to rectify any problems.
