It has been about 20 years since new approved hiking trails have been marked in Shomron. Today B”H, that is exactly what is taking place as walking and hiking trails in Shomron are being marked to permit visitors on chol hamoed Sukkos to enjoy the Biblical area.

A state official responsible for marking approved trails arrived in the Nachal Kana area and is busy marking it ahead of yomtov. The approved trail begins in the Yair Farm area of Shomron and travels via Hirbit Shada (חרבת שחאדה), an old village dating back to Bayis Sheni and the trail ends at Mayan HaTzavim.
