PBA Endorses Chaim Deutsch for City Council, NYPD Unions Unanimously Support Deutsch


deutschChaim Deutsch, Democratic candidate for City Council in the 48th District, is proud to have received the endorsements of every uniformed police union of the New York City Police Department.

The endorsements of these unions, comprised of every active and retired member of the NYPD in the ranks of Police Officer, Detective, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, Deputy Inspector, Police Surgeon, Inspector and Deputy Chief, demonstrate Chaim Deutsch’s readiness to tackle any and every police and public safety matter.

As a top aide in City government and founder of the Flatbush Shomrim, Chaim Deutsch has worked closely with the 60th, 61st, 63rd, 70th Precincts & Patrol Borough Brooklyn South – to not only fight everyday crimes, but to also deal with quality of life issues such as speeding, vandalism, emergency response and community relations.

“On behalf of the New York City Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association, I am pleases to announce our endorsement of Chaim Deutsch’s candidacy in the 48th City Council District. Chaim’s proven track record and commitment to law enforcement are well recognized,” said PBA President Patrick J. Lynch. “As police officers who face, every day, the chance that we might be called upon to make the ultimate sacrifice, the members of the PBA would be honored to have Chaim Deutsch representing our members.”

Deutsch said that he was “humbled and grateful for the recognition and overwhelming support of New York’s law enforcement community.”

  1. Voters should be cognizant of the fact when going to the polls, that there is no greater issue than the safety of our families and community. Without the peace of mind of safe streets, all else is immaterial! All the police unions have seen fit to endorse Chaim Deutsch for city council. There is an obvious reason for that. Chaim is the most qualified candidate to ensure our safety! It’s our job to go to the polls and make sure he get’s elected. Please don’t be complacent- do your civic duty and vote this Tuesday September 10.

  2. Those of you living in the 48th City Council district are fortunate to have such a qualified candidate to vote for this Tuesday. Please be sure to vote for Chaim Deutsch for the good of our entire community. A candidate with his integrity is a rarity in Brooklyn politics.
