IDF Cooks Prepare for Rosh Hashanah

honThe IDF is busy preparing for Rosh Hashanah along with the rest of the nation. When the IDF orders for yomtov, it deals in large numbers to feed its hungry forces.

Six tons of fish were ordered for Rosh Hashanah along with 420 units (whatever measure that is) of stuffed fish, 21 tons of turkey, 16.5 tons of chicken and 18 tons of beef.

In addition, there will be 15 tons of apples along with 2 tons of honey and 2 tons of dried fruits, 5.5 tons of pomegranates, 5 tons of yellow dates, and 8 tons of honey cake.

  1. Being that most posters here believe that the goal of the IDF is to shmad young men and women, I’m not sure why they would need all this stuff. Perhaps wafers would be more necessary?
