Chief Ashkenazi Rabbi David Lau has released a call for Jews around the world to recite a tefilla on behalf of Jonathan Pollard. The rav points out “We all feel that the time for his release has come a long time ago”.

He calls on the tzibur to recite the tefilla on Yomtov in lines with instructions of HaGaon HaRav Mordechai Eliyahu ZT”L, who stated the tefilla should be recited when the torah is taken out or after kriyas Hatorah.
