Magen David Adom was summoned on Shabbos morning, 18 Elul 5773 after area residents found a baby girl abandoned near Shar Shechem. A note was left with the newborn, written in Arabic stating “This is my baby Osana. Take care of her”.

The baby was reportedly in good condition, just a few hours old when she was discovered. The child was transported to Hadassah Hospital on Mount Scopus. Police and city social services officials are investigating the case.
